With numerical techniques, the effect of a single transverse bump or groove on steel ball surface on the problem of isothermal falling ball is explored. The pressure is instantane- ously evaluated with a multi-grid method, the elastic deformation is calculated with a multi- integration technique. The results are compared with those in smooth contacts. Further- more,the influences of the wavelength of the bump or groove on the pressure and the thick- ness of lubricating film are also discussed in the paper.采用数值分析方法求解了等温落球问题中,钢球表面存在横向单粗糙峰和粗糙谷的影响.在每一个瞬时,压力的计算使用多重网格法,弹性变形的计算使用多重网格积分法.将计算结果同光滑表面的膜厚和压力进行了比较,并讨论了单粗糙峰和粗糙谷的波长对压力和润滑膜厚度的影响.
