Based on actual blanking technological of rectangular pieces, an application system of optimal layout of rectangular pieces and cutting simulation has been carried out, which is accomplished under the integrated environment of VC ＋ ＋ 6.0 with the assistance of Pro/TOOLKIT, which is the further development tool provided by Pro/ ENGINEER.根据矩形件排样的实际下料工艺要求，采用Pro／ENGINEER的二次开发工具Pro／TOOL-KIT，在VC＋＋6．0集成环境下开发了矩形件优化排样和开料仿真应用系统，该系统具有交互界面直观明了，操作简单，排样优化计算高效等优点．
