Aiming at the flip occurred in a NOx compressor in a chemical factory after overhaul, the possible vibration factors were determined by analyzing flip forming mechanisms, combined with overhaul items in the early period. The vibration source was accurately positioned by obtaining the frequency of abnormal vibration making use of frequency spectrum features. Then scientific processing methods were carried out and good effect was achieved after implementation.针对某化工企业NOx压缩机在停机检修后出现的拍振故障，通过分析拍振形成机理，并结合前期检修工作内容确定故障可能因素，利用频谱分析手段逐一排除，对故障源做出了准确定位，并对此制订了故障治理方案，实施后取得了良好效果。
