Mechanical agitation was introduced to conventional fluidized bed to improve fluidization, enhance heat transfer and avoid cohesion or agglomeration of particles, which makes agitated fluidized bed (AFB) wide prospect of application in the fields of drying, granulation and polymerization industries. Operational variables such as impeller speed, type of impeller have great effects on fluidization performance and heat transfer process. CFD simulation can be used to provide theoretical basis for scale-up design and process intensification of agitated fluidized bed.传统流化床中引入搅拌构件具有促进流态化、强化传热、防止颗粒粘结结块等优点,在干燥、造粒、聚合等物理及化学过程显示出优越性,工业应用前景广阔。搅拌桨形式、搅拌转速等操作条件对流化特性和传热过程影响显著,计算流体力学模拟可以为搅拌流化床的设计放大和过程强化提供依据。
