Research on Work C apacity of Screw C entrifugal PumpImpeller Based on Profile LinesQUAN Hui LI Rennian SU Qingmiao HAN Wei LI Qifei SHEN Zhengjing(1.School of Energy and Power Engineering,Lanzhou University of Technology,Lanzhou 730050;2.School of Petrochemical Technology,Lanzhou University of Technology,Lanzhou 730050)Abstract:Based on the N-S equation and k-e standard turbulence model,the inner flow of a screw centrifugal pump is simulated tostudy the work capacity of the impeller.The velocity,pressure and concentration along the blade in the whole process are observed,the energy transfer of transmission medium produced by impeller is separated into the centrifugal force work,the airfoil lift work andthe volume change with the concept of lift coeficient of airfoil and drag coeficient,the blade load coeficient is used to analyzeworking capability of each segment of screw centrifugal pump impeler by introduction of load coeficient of centrifugal force,loadcoeficient of lifting and volum e load coeficient,and the efect of two phase flow meum on impeler working is also analyzed.Theresults show that fluid energy of screw centrifugal pum P is primarily provided by helical segment,the helical segm ent in the front ofthe impeler play an important role in multistage energized,the solid-liquid flow in screw centrifugal pump is turbulent flOW,and thesolid and liquid phase flows with diferent velocities respectively because of being pushed by the impeler screw and centrifugalefect.As liquid phase is the primary phase,the energy conversion is mainly up to the change of liquid energy ,the solid phase flowsunder the wrapped action of liquid,and solid energy is carried out through liquid indirectly.Large particle size of solid phase and thehilgher volume concentration of tw o phase flow are more advantageous to the liquid energy conversion in the two-phase flOW,on thecontrary,when the volume concentration is too high,it is not conducive to the liquid energy conversion。
