Gear pump is one equipment,which has simple structure,small volume,and strong self-priming capacity.It is often used to transport oil in oil field,ports,docks and vessels.The gear pump physical model is established,and the moving grid technology of Fluent is used to dynamic simulate the flow in gear pump.The paper analyzed the internal pressure and velocity field when the pump was rotating.So the paper provided a lot of valuable reference data for the design and structure optimization of gear pump.
