Pitting resistance equivalent （PRE） is used in quentitative appearance to resistance perform- ance of all corrosion type of stainless steels. The formula PRE = Cr ＋ 3.3Mo ＋ 16N had standardized in EN and ASTM standards in recent years. There are 28 designtions of super stainless steels （ PRE I〉40 or 35） in stainless steel standards. And there are 16 designtions of super stainless steels in foreign pressure vessel standards. Production and usability of PRE, performance and use for pressure vessels of super stain- less steels are discussed.耐点蚀当量（PRE）被用作不锈钢综合耐蚀性能的定量标示。近年PRE=Cr＋3.3Mo＋16N的公式已在EN和ASTM标准中标准化。不锈钢标准中已有PRE≥40（铁素体不锈钢为PRE≥35）的超级不锈钢28种牌号,国外压力容器标准中已有16种牌号。本文讨论了PRE的产生与应用以及超级不锈钢的性能和在压力容器中的应用。
