20 steel pipe in the ammonium nitrate(AN) pipeline happened corrosion failure.Pipelines thinning local significantly,and there are a large number of corrosion pits.In order to determine the failure reason of the 20 steel pipe segments,the experiments shch as macro analysis,chemical composition analysis,metallographic scanning electron microscopy(SEM)analysis and micro hardness measurement were carried out.The results indicate that the interaction of erosion-corrosion and cavitation is responsible for the 20 pipe line failure.20号钢硝酸铵管线段发生穿孔失效,管线局部减薄明显,并且有大量腐蚀坑。通过宏观观察、金相分析、扫描电镜分析、显微硬度测量等方法对失效的20号钢管线段进行了分析和讨论。分析结果表明,冲刷腐蚀和气蚀的交互作用是造成20号钢管线段失效的主要原因。
