Precision of the plastic production directly relies on the precise design and calculation of the moulding dimensions. Although the formulas for calculating moulding dimensions have been proposed in many plastic mould design books, how to apply correctly these formulas to designing the moulding dimensions is not clearly described. Some books even offered the wrong methods. In this paper, the impact of draft angle to the moulding dimensions and the comprehension of the dimensions in plastic production with the unlabeled tolerance were discussed. And an example of how to design moulding dimensions is proposed. This paper presents some guidance in designing the moulding dimensions correctly.塑料模具成型尺寸的准确设计和计算，直接关系到塑料件的精度。虽然大部分的模具设计教材、手册和著作都给出了有关塑料模具成型零件尺寸计算的公式，但对如何准确运用这些公式进行设计，有些教科书没有论述清楚，甚至出现了错误。本文通过论述模具脱模斜度对模具尺寸的影响、塑料件未注公差的确定，并通过一个设计实例进行了说明。对准确设计塑料模具成型零件尺寸，具有指导意义。
