There existed damping during turret running. The damping not only has influence on the dynamical characteristics of turret servo system, but also on the dynamical characteristics of gun structure. In order to study the measuring technology of the damping coefficient in turret running, a kind of measu- ring principle and method of the damping coefficient was put forward. Using the chassis used to support turret to form a measuring instrument, releasing the restraint of the traversing mechanism, with the help of springs, the turret was changed into a spring-inertia system. Under the condition of initial external dis- turbance, a free decaying vibration was taken place in the turret. By means of measuring the vibration curve and processing the acquired data, the damping coefficient during turret running were obtained. For the sake of validating above principle and method, the simulation instrument of turret running was designed, the damping coefficient in instrument running were measured. The results showed that the principle and method can be used for measuring the damping coefficient during turret running, the measuring precision can be satisfied with the requirements for use.炮塔转动存在阻尼,该阻尼不仅影响火炮随动系统特性,也影响火炮结构动力学特性。为了研究火炮炮塔转动阻尼系数,提出了一种炮塔转动阻尼系数实验测试原理和方法,利用支撑炮塔的底盘作为测试平台,解除方向机约束,使炮塔形成惯量弹簧系统,在外界初始扰动下,炮塔发生自由衰减振动,通过测试该自由衰减振动曲线,并进行数据处理,得到炮塔转动阻尼系数。为了验证上述原理和方法的准确性,设计了模拟炮塔试验装置,进行了其转动阻尼系数实验测试。结果表明,该原理和方法可以用来测量炮塔转动阻尼系数且测量精度可以满足使用要求。利用此原理和方法,完成了某自行火炮实际炮塔转动阻尼系数实验测试,得到了该炮炮塔的阻尼系数测试值。
