Effect of contact characters on friction and wear behaviors of copper-impregnated metallized/stainless steel carbon was studied on an improved pin-on-disc tester under electric current. The result indicates that the contact stiffness and the contact force significantly affect the coefficient of friction, wear rate and roughness of surface of contact pairs. Appropriate contact stiffness and contact force can effectively reduce friction, so as to reduce wear of contact materials. Abrasive wear is the main wear mechanism for the materials in good contact characteristics, and arc erosion and metals fusing are the main wear mechanisms for the materials in poor contact characteristics.在改进的销一盘摩擦磨损试验机上,研究接触特性对浸金属碳/不锈钢材料载流摩擦磨损性能的影响。试验结果表明,接触刚度和接触压力显著地影响接触副的摩擦因数、磨损率和表面粗糙度;适当的接触刚度和接触压力能有效地减轻摩擦、减小接触副材料的磨损;良好的接触特性时,磨损机制主要是磨粒磨损;接触特性不好时,磨损机制主要是电弧烧蚀和金属熔凝。
