This paper introduces the Mohr - Coulomb failure criterion and calculates soil equilibrium conditions under the compressive stress and shear stress limit. The forces of the roller machine and soil systems, and the soil stress under the effect of the rolling machine are investigated. According to this study, judgment method of slipping problem in the process of compacting soil with roller machine is solved by the Mohr - Coulomb failure criterion. The method of calculation for maximum height of compacted soil by roller machine is proposed.主要介绍了莫尔-库伦破坏准则,并计算出了土体在压应力与剪应力作用下的极限平衡条件。分析了滚压机与土壤系统的受力情况,分析计算出在滚压机作用下土壤受到的应力作用。最终给出了利用土力学中的莫尔-库伦破坏准则,给出了存在已久的滚压机在压实土壤材料过程中打滑难题的判断方法,并提出滚压机压实土壤最大高度的计算方法。
