Stamping fOrm simulation of roof cover based on AutoFormXIANG Xiaohan(Mechanical and Electronic Engineering Department，Liuzhou Vocational&Techinical Colege，Liuzhou 545006，CHN)Abstract：The addendum and binder surface for the roof cover were designed by CATIA according to its shape，thenthe finite element model of each process of the roof cover was built in AutoForm，which was linked upwith CATIA on the basement of seamless connection with both datas.The rear part of roof cover shouldbe formed there times to avoid crinkling，cracking or springing back during the forming process，SO thesimulation of the whole process chain was produced and optimized.The result of the simulation reflectsthe whole stamping process of roof cover essentially，which wil be helpful to die designing，die eommis-sioning，establishing forming techniques and ensuring the quality of the roof cover。
