Acoustic emission detection technology began in 1960s is a NDT methods and is now being widely used. In this paper, A high-pressure gas cylinders by AE detection example: Hydrostatic testing of the AE detector to monitor gas cylinders during the experiment and experimental methods have been introduced, including AE detection and signal acquisition in the process of loading tests, AE data analysis and classification of the source, etc. The test finds out issues and discusses, analyzing its further prospects of the application of AE detection technology.
