本文研究了运用门径系统进行机械设计与生产管理的问题,运用创新多功能工程车的实例说明了阶段.关卡方法在机械设计、生产管理与产品数据管理集成环境中的应用实施、由实例看出,笔者把复杂新型机械产品的研制与生产重心落在了“设计”上,这与日本著名质量管理学家田口玄一“产品质量首先是设计出来的,其次才是制造出来的”的观点不谋而合.

The application of Stage-gate system in complex mechanical products' development is researched. The Stage-gate system mentioned includes break down structures of deliveries, working, organizations, working packages in hierarchical stages and tollgate standard risk management. In addition, the multifunctional engineering vehicle is taken as the example to explain the using of stage-tollgate method in mechanical design, manufacturing management and products' data collection. In the example, design is regarded as the important part of the development of a new complex mechanical product which reaches the point of Genichi Taguchi, a famous Japanese scholar in quality management, the quality firstly depends on design, then on manufacturing. To sum up, the study offers a method by which quality and efficiency of mechanical products can improve.
