Due to the universality of tribology problems among ships and the growing importance of materials and energy saving,the tribology research of ship machinery has been greatly developed. Tribology problems of ship machinery mainly exist in ship power plant. The tribology research progress in ship machinery from the composition of the ship power plant was discussed and the main direction of the research in the future was put forward.由于船舶机械中摩擦学问题的普遍性，以及人们对材料和能源节约的日益重视，船舶机械中的摩擦学研究得到了很大发展。船舶机械中的摩擦学问题主要存在于船舶动力装置及一些辅助机械中，从船舶主机、传动、支承、螺旋桨和舵机及其他机械部件等5个方面概述船舶机械中存在的摩擦学问题及其研究进展，并对今后研究的主要方向进行展望。
