A prediction method of wear rate of friction elements with heavy load was established based on the surface to- pology and the parameters of the material. This method used the fractal parameter obtained by surface topology sampling and data reconstitution with MATLAB to characterize the surface topology of friction pairs, and used the adhesion wear the- ory to set up the prediction model of wear rate. It can determine the optimal fractal dimension conducive to improving the severe wear, and can guide the elect of the friction elements and resolve the problem that wear are cannot be theoretically predicted.研究一种适用于大功率摩擦元件的磨损率预测方法,该方法以摩擦元件表面形貌为基础,材料特性为参数,利用表面形貌采集、数据重构获得的分形参数对摩擦副表面形貌进行分形表征,利用黏附磨损理论建立适用于大功率摩擦元件的磨损率预测模型。该方法可确定有利于改善剧烈磨损的最优分形维数,从而可用于优选摩擦元件,还可解决大功率摩擦元件磨损量只能靠实验手段测量,无法理论预测的问题。
