A method of parametric modeling of the double circular arc gear is introduced,based on the pro/e software platform. The 3D model is imported into ANSYS software for finite element analysis. Stresses are put at the different locations of the gear tooth. The bending stress is analyzed in order to find a more accurate model for stress analysis, The method of parametric design is meaningful for its occurate design, manufacture and assembly.
